Fashion Recap 2016: My Outfits Of The Year

Wow okay, it's crazy to think that I have been MIA for this long (it has almost been a year since I've been on here). In all honesty there is no excuse beside the fact that I have been so busy with work that I never had the time to just sit down and write a post. For you who have been waiting on me (if there is any LoL), I do apologize and hope you've followed me on Instagram as well since I have been more active there.

Anyways since this year is almost coming to an end, I figured why not just give an update on all my outfits I've managed to capture this year.

As for a life update (besides being a working zombie) I got to travel to Portugal in May which was pretty AH-MAH-ZINg and I went to Australia for a family emergency and that is pretty much it.

I'll stop here for today but I do hope you enjoyed my little post and until next time

Lookbook: Ever Green

Cara top in Olive green: Gina Tricot / Skirt: Gina Tricot / Boots: Bianco / Jewelry: Guess

O is for the olive green colour that is slowly but surely taking over my heart when it comes to favorite Fall colours. And if you pay close attention then you'll see that it has bombarded the shops as well with its teammate maroon.

I have to be honest here and say that my sense of clothing style and choice in clothing pieces has changed a lot from when I was younger. Before I would pick the boldest colour or print simply because I loved the material or the design, and now as I'm slowly and sadly maturing (and the number 25 is around the corner), I have face the fact that I have become more aware and picky when it comes to shopping. Now I don't grab after the most craziest print or design but more after key pieces every gal should have in her wardrobe, though where I simply make sure it has a little detail that stands out. Like this top from Gina Tricot; it is a key piece that you can wear with pretty much anything and all year round but what made me fall in love with it besides its material, is the fact that it is a crop top. As for the skirt, it's a knitted bodycon skirt with an elastic waist. To make it a bit more Fall-ish I paired the outfit with my black boots of course and the icing on the top are my gold jewelry. There is something about Olive green and gold that looks so well together, wouldn't you agree?

Anyways that was all this time around. I hope you're doing fine and until next time - Ingat!

Lookbook: Autumn Chic

Dress: Gina Tricot / Wedges: Aldo / SkarfK H&M / Jewelry: Guess and Pilgrim
Autumn and Winter has never been a fortay of mine when it comes to fashion. Somehow I always end up wearing dresses even though I really should wear something much much warmer. Though this knitted dress with slits on each sides just screamed Autumn for me, I seriously believe this is a perfect piece to have in ones wardrobe all year round since you can pretty much dress it up or down. Since the weather isn't that bad yet here or I just don't want to face the fact that Winter is coming, I only decided to match my dress with my new and favorite chunky and super soft scarf from H&M

The good thing about scarfs like this baby is that it is really big so you can wear it as a skarf or use it as a shall - the decision is all up to you. And of course I couldn't help myself and matched the outfit with my favorite wedges and as the icing on the top, I decided to wear gold. Nothing screams more chic than gold necklaces matched with a turtle neck.

Question: How are you enjoying the weather? Are you excited for December?

Anywho until next time - Ingat!
