Lookbook: City Chic

Shirt: Gina Tricot / Dress: Gina Tricot / Wedges: Primark / Hat: H&M

The colour white will never go out of style or trend for that matter, and Gina Tricot is clearly showing that white will continue to be here even for this Fall with their bodycon turtle neck dress and white shirt with black stripes. I seriously love the dress, since it hugs your body the right way and makes the butt look even perkier, and which gal doesn't want her butt to look good, am I right? HAHA. Though I will admit that all white can be a tad boring, so always make sure to wear a pop of colour, either as an accessorie or as a lipstick. Here I decided to wear my maroon colour wool hat from H&M and then match it with a maroon colour lipstick. A perfect outfit for the Fall - just remember to wear stockings if it's cold outside.

Anyways I hope you liked my little lookbook and until next time - Ingat!

Lookbook: Cheetah

T-shirt: H&M / Leggings: H&M / Wedges: Primark: Jewelry: Bought in Australia

Prints, prints, prints! I am a sucker for printed t-shirts and especially when they are a bit cropped and got cheetah prints all over it. I think I got that fixation from my mother since she is all about cheetah prints HAHA. Anyways when I'm in a hurry but still want to look put together, I always go after a cool tee with some comfy leggings. As for accessories I went for gold of course. Some might find gold with leopard prints tacky but I say go for it! I try to put my entire outfit together by taking a colour and matching it with my shoes, so notice the white letters on the tee and my white wedges. It just gives the look a better balance.

Anyways I hope you're all well and until next time - Ingat!

Lookbook: Konnichiwa

Headband: H&M / T-shirt: H&M / Leggings: H&M / Wedges: Primark / Accessories: Guess

I've been seeing a lot of tees like this one where there are slits on the side of the t-shirt on the internet, so when I saw this baby at my local H&M store, I was like OH MY GOD! I fell
in love with it as soon as I saw it hanging on the rack. Are you one of those who sees a garment and then get a mental picture of an entire outfit? Well I do so when I saw it, I instantly got a picture in my mind on how I would style it. So that was pretty much a sign that I should get it. So I decided to pair my tee with some black leggings of course and my favorite white wedges. To top it all off, I went and chose to accessorize the outfit with some black and silver jewelry, just to give it a bit more edgier look.

Question: How would you style it?

Anyways that was all this time around so until next time - Ingat!

Lookbook: Brining 60's Back

Dress: Gina Tricot / Hairbow: H&M / Wedges: Primark / Accessories: Guess & gifts

"Women think of all colors except the absence of color. I have said that black has it all. White too. Their beauty is absolute. It is the perfect harmony"

You can clearly tell that the 60's, 70's and even some of the 90's styles are back in town, especially the 60's with this baby doll dress with a golden zipper in the back. I find it so refreshing since my style is inspired by the 60's and 90's, so I'm happy that those decades are having a come-back in the fashion industry. With this cute dress I decided to go cute-sy and matched it with this black hairtie I purchased some time ago at H&M and as for shoes, I couldn't help but to pick my favorite white wedges from Primark. As for the colours, black and white always go well together, so never be scared to mix those two colours together. It's as what miss Coco Chanel said in the quote above, black and white is beautiful and are in perfect harmony together or apart.

What's your favorite fashion decade? Anyways I hope you enjoyed my little lookbook and until next time - Ingat!

#WithShandraAroundTurkey Part 3 ✈️

"Travelling is not just an activity, it's the art of broadening your vision through the priceless experience"

If you're a sucker for history and monuments, then Tuckey is the place to go! I am one of those who are simply fascinated by what our ancestors have been able to do, so when I had the chance to visit the famous ancient cities such as Perge, Aspendos and Side, I got way too excited. We managed to get a really good deal by one of the locals who sells these type of trips, where we'd have a cab driver to pick us up and drive us around the different cities. So if you are ever in Antalya, definitely put a day aside where you can go on sights and visit the forgotten cities like these. While you're add it, why not try and ride on a camel or hike up the mountains for a better view of land. You would be surprised by all the history there is hidden behind these monuments.

Question: Do you also go on sights like these when you're on holiday or do you simply prefer being at the beach the entire time?

Lookbook: Gucci me Green

Faux leather jacket: New Yorker / Crop top: Gina Tricot / High waist jeans: Vallygirl / Wedges: Primark
Sunnies: Gucci / Earrings & bangle: Random shops / Necklace: Pilgrim

"You can have anything you want in life if you dress for it"
I firmly believe in this saying, so if you want a specific job or something, you need to dress the part cause if you dress sloppy, then nobody in that field will take you seriously. I just finished design school where I majored in Fashion design, so if I want to work as a designer, then of course I have to dress the part. Now I know don't always have much time or energy to always look glam, but you can always make sure that what you do decide to put looks good, even if it is a casual outfit like this one.

Now I love crop tops but I will admit I don't have a flat tummy, so to me if you're a gal just like me with curves and a tummy tummy, then just make sure to wear a high-waisted jeans or skirt or anything high-waisted when you want to wear crop tops. In this case I just wanted to wear something casual but nice, so I matched my high-waisted jeans with my current favorite crop top from Gina Trico (which I got on sale btw HAHA). Since the Summer here hasn't been the best, I decided to throw on my favorite and only leather jacket that I got ages ago from New Yorker. To finish it all of (since I was thinking of going casual) I chose to wear my white wedges/sandals that I got from Primark.

Anyways that was all this time around, I hope you enjoyed my little lookbook and until next time - Ingat!

July Favorites ♡

July has been a very hectic month for me, so here are the things that I have been grabbing towards the entire month. I've added a technical gadget to my favorites so from now on, I'll add anything and everything that I have been loving.

Beauty Favorites:
1. The first things is of course the Maybelline Baby Lips SPF 30, which was also in my first giveaway. It's been out for a very long time now but none the less a favorite of mine. The product is super moisturizing and contains UVA/UVB which protects your lips from the sun.

2.The second thing I have been loving the month of July is the hand gel called Farmstand Apple from Bath and BodyWorks. I'm a huge fan of them even though we don't have the store here in Dk, but this little product has been my life saver. It is super handy when you're on the go, so I would bring it with me everywhere I went. I'm not a fan of using local toilets but when you're out and about (especially travelling in another country), I would use this sucker on the toilet seats. There are so many germs on toilets seats, and this baby contains 68% alcohol and Tihitian Palm Milk, so it leaves your hands and in my case toilet seats germ-free, plus it doesn't hurt that is smells amazing! It smells like sweet apples so of course it's a no wonder that they called it Farmstand Apple.

3. The last thing beauty-wise that I loved is the Body Shop's Vitamin C daily moisturizer with SPF. I can not stress enough how important it is to protect yourself from the sun, and since I'm always on the go, I'm thankful that there is a normal moisturizer with SPF, so I don't have to worry about protecting my face when I'm out. If you haven't tried this moisturizer, then I suggest you go to your local Body Shop and give this a go. I am sure your future self will thank you for it.

Fashion Favorites:
4. Again since I am all about protecting oneself from the sun, of course a fashion favorite would be my Gucci sunnies. These babies have been my faithful companion all through the Summer, so of course I had to include it in my favorites. I got these a couple of years ago at our local store, so I'm not sure if this model is still available?

5. I'm a sucker for anything that is white, especially when it comes to stuff you wear. I don't know? White just makes everything look fresh and clean, so when I saw these cute wedges when I was in Berlin (I bought them like the last day of July but still) I knew I had to get them! I got them at Primark which is located at Alexanderplatss in Berlin. If you didn't know, Primark is a huge store that sells awesome and trendy clothes and accessories for cheap prices. I got these cuties for only 12 Euro which is around 90 kr - a pretty sweet deal. Not only are they super cute but they are actually also very comfy to walk in. Because of that I ended up buying the same pair just in another colour LOL.

Technical Favorites:
6. I only have one tech gadget that I am soooo thankful for that I got, which is this portable charger. I've been wanting one for months, especially since the day my phone died on the train and long story short, I had an electronic train card = a fine. So since then I have been on the hunt for a cute charger and with my luck, I found this one the day before I had to go to Berlin. It's from Hooc (never heard of the brand before) but I figured I might give this one a go. It comes in all different type of colours from black to pink, yellow, purple and blue but since they ran out of pink, I thought I might as well get the yellow one (then I know my sister or mom won't snatch it from me HAHA. The charger is already charged when you buy it and all you have to do is push the little button and it will start charging. It has 4 little lights that will blink and show you how much there is left and it comes with a wire of course and this little pouch. The great thing about this one is that you can use it to charge any type of cell phones, cameras and even laptop.

If you would like to see what I bought while I was in Berlin, then comment down below and I'll do a lookbook post about it. Anyways these were all my July favorites, I hope you enjoyed my little post and until next time - Ingat!
