Christmas Crisis: What to get him? ❄️

If you're panicking a little bit about what to get your special guy, whether it's your father, brother, boyfriend or even best friend then do not worry, my dear. I got a few ideas on what you could get your special guy, so keep on reading. Who knows? You might get inspired on what to get him.

Levi Jeans
Clothes are always ideal when it comes to gift giving, especially to those guys who works hard and pretty much always wears the same clothes. So why not get him something you know that not only will look good on him but that you know will last him for a very long time, like a pair of jeans. In this case, the man for this gift is my dad. There are tons of stores providing you with lots of different options on styles when it comes to jeans, but I chose the old faithful Levi Jeans for my dad. In all honesty, I feel like Levi Jeans are the best jeans you can get a man. And as you may (or may not know) Levi Jeans have different numbers of styles, and I of course chose the style with straight legs. Manly and rough with the perfect touch of denim blues.

Calvin Klein
If you're a snuggler like myself and you love snuggling on the couch with your boyfee and watch Netflix, why not get him a nice pair of pjs, that not only will keep him warm during Winter but will most likely make him look even hotter when you guys snuggle. Now I personally feel like it's hard finding a nice pair of pjs that not only are super soft in quality but also looks nice. Luckily I found the perfect match for my Noob at Calvin Klein. That man surely knows what he is doing.

L'homme by Yves Saint Lauren
Another gift you can never go wrong with are perfumes for men. I think perfumes are expensive and therefore most guys maybe prefer not to buy that many and some stick to the same scent every year. It's necessarily not a bad thing but let's face it, ladies.. We are the ones who are going to be smelling them, so why not get him a scent that you actually likes. In my case I chose L'homme from YSL and if you hurry now and visit your local Matas store, they are having a 25% discount of all fragrances so while you're add it buying him a scent, why not get one for yourself as well? Hihi.

For the guy who is always on the go (like my brother), it can sometimes be very frustrating for him when his batteries dies and there is no place to charge your phone or Ipod. So why not be the practical one of the two of you and get him a portable charger? I can not tell you how many times my own portable charger has saved my life. Get one with a cool design or his favorite color and I'm sure he will love it, maybe even love it more than he loves you haha.

Gift cards are always a great idea, maybe not the most fun to give but is the best to receive. So if you truly do not know on what to give him, then simply give him a gift card to a store you know he frequently visits when he is out shopping. In my case, I chose to get a CityVejle gift card which is a gift card you can use in pretty much every shop down town. But if you do find it boring giving a gift card by itself, then why not wrap it in in a fun way like hide it in a box of chocolate or such.

Lastly as we all know, people spend a TON of money buying Christmas gifts to their loved ones and of course it is not everybody who can truly afford "spoiling" their loved ones with material things, so for those who might not have much in cash, there is nothing better than receiving a box of chocolate. Right now all chocolate brands are selling their goods in cute Christmassy packages. And let's face it, every guy loves to eat so if you don't have that much money to give, simply buy him his favorite snack/candy and he will love you forever 'cause remember - It is the thought that truly counts plus the way to a mans heart is through his stomach, remember that.

Anyways that was all this time around. Hopefully I have given you an idea on what you could get him and until next time - Happy Holidays and Ingat!

Lookbook: Brining 60's Back

Dress: Gina Tricot / Hairbow: H&M / Wedges: Primark / Accessories: Guess & gifts

"Women think of all colors except the absence of color. I have said that black has it all. White too. Their beauty is absolute. It is the perfect harmony"

You can clearly tell that the 60's, 70's and even some of the 90's styles are back in town, especially the 60's with this baby doll dress with a golden zipper in the back. I find it so refreshing since my style is inspired by the 60's and 90's, so I'm happy that those decades are having a come-back in the fashion industry. With this cute dress I decided to go cute-sy and matched it with this black hairtie I purchased some time ago at H&M and as for shoes, I couldn't help but to pick my favorite white wedges from Primark. As for the colours, black and white always go well together, so never be scared to mix those two colours together. It's as what miss Coco Chanel said in the quote above, black and white is beautiful and are in perfect harmony together or apart.

What's your favorite fashion decade? Anyways I hope you enjoyed my little lookbook and until next time - Ingat!

Lookbook: Gucci me Green

Faux leather jacket: New Yorker / Crop top: Gina Tricot / High waist jeans: Vallygirl / Wedges: Primark
Sunnies: Gucci / Earrings & bangle: Random shops / Necklace: Pilgrim

"You can have anything you want in life if you dress for it"
I firmly believe in this saying, so if you want a specific job or something, you need to dress the part cause if you dress sloppy, then nobody in that field will take you seriously. I just finished design school where I majored in Fashion design, so if I want to work as a designer, then of course I have to dress the part. Now I know don't always have much time or energy to always look glam, but you can always make sure that what you do decide to put looks good, even if it is a casual outfit like this one.

Now I love crop tops but I will admit I don't have a flat tummy, so to me if you're a gal just like me with curves and a tummy tummy, then just make sure to wear a high-waisted jeans or skirt or anything high-waisted when you want to wear crop tops. In this case I just wanted to wear something casual but nice, so I matched my high-waisted jeans with my current favorite crop top from Gina Trico (which I got on sale btw HAHA). Since the Summer here hasn't been the best, I decided to throw on my favorite and only leather jacket that I got ages ago from New Yorker. To finish it all of (since I was thinking of going casual) I chose to wear my white wedges/sandals that I got from Primark.

Anyways that was all this time around, I hope you enjoyed my little lookbook and until next time - Ingat!

July Favorites ♡

July has been a very hectic month for me, so here are the things that I have been grabbing towards the entire month. I've added a technical gadget to my favorites so from now on, I'll add anything and everything that I have been loving.

Beauty Favorites:
1. The first things is of course the Maybelline Baby Lips SPF 30, which was also in my first giveaway. It's been out for a very long time now but none the less a favorite of mine. The product is super moisturizing and contains UVA/UVB which protects your lips from the sun.

2.The second thing I have been loving the month of July is the hand gel called Farmstand Apple from Bath and BodyWorks. I'm a huge fan of them even though we don't have the store here in Dk, but this little product has been my life saver. It is super handy when you're on the go, so I would bring it with me everywhere I went. I'm not a fan of using local toilets but when you're out and about (especially travelling in another country), I would use this sucker on the toilet seats. There are so many germs on toilets seats, and this baby contains 68% alcohol and Tihitian Palm Milk, so it leaves your hands and in my case toilet seats germ-free, plus it doesn't hurt that is smells amazing! It smells like sweet apples so of course it's a no wonder that they called it Farmstand Apple.

3. The last thing beauty-wise that I loved is the Body Shop's Vitamin C daily moisturizer with SPF. I can not stress enough how important it is to protect yourself from the sun, and since I'm always on the go, I'm thankful that there is a normal moisturizer with SPF, so I don't have to worry about protecting my face when I'm out. If you haven't tried this moisturizer, then I suggest you go to your local Body Shop and give this a go. I am sure your future self will thank you for it.

Fashion Favorites:
4. Again since I am all about protecting oneself from the sun, of course a fashion favorite would be my Gucci sunnies. These babies have been my faithful companion all through the Summer, so of course I had to include it in my favorites. I got these a couple of years ago at our local store, so I'm not sure if this model is still available?

5. I'm a sucker for anything that is white, especially when it comes to stuff you wear. I don't know? White just makes everything look fresh and clean, so when I saw these cute wedges when I was in Berlin (I bought them like the last day of July but still) I knew I had to get them! I got them at Primark which is located at Alexanderplatss in Berlin. If you didn't know, Primark is a huge store that sells awesome and trendy clothes and accessories for cheap prices. I got these cuties for only 12 Euro which is around 90 kr - a pretty sweet deal. Not only are they super cute but they are actually also very comfy to walk in. Because of that I ended up buying the same pair just in another colour LOL.

Technical Favorites:
6. I only have one tech gadget that I am soooo thankful for that I got, which is this portable charger. I've been wanting one for months, especially since the day my phone died on the train and long story short, I had an electronic train card = a fine. So since then I have been on the hunt for a cute charger and with my luck, I found this one the day before I had to go to Berlin. It's from Hooc (never heard of the brand before) but I figured I might give this one a go. It comes in all different type of colours from black to pink, yellow, purple and blue but since they ran out of pink, I thought I might as well get the yellow one (then I know my sister or mom won't snatch it from me HAHA. The charger is already charged when you buy it and all you have to do is push the little button and it will start charging. It has 4 little lights that will blink and show you how much there is left and it comes with a wire of course and this little pouch. The great thing about this one is that you can use it to charge any type of cell phones, cameras and even laptop.

If you would like to see what I bought while I was in Berlin, then comment down below and I'll do a lookbook post about it. Anyways these were all my July favorites, I hope you enjoyed my little post and until next time - Ingat!

#WithShandraAroundTurkey Part 1 ✈️

Okay so I turned 24 back in Feb and as a surprise birthday gift, my bestie took me to Turkey where we stayed in Antalya. We stayed there for a couple of days and I figured why not bring you guys with me? So here are some snapshots through my time there.

When you're in Antalya, make sure to check out the old city. They have lots of local shops and breath taking view from the habor.

If you're going to do a bit of shopping at the locals, it's allowed to negotiate about the prices. And you can pretty much anything in the old city - everything from little bracelets to Hakka and face branded bags haha.
At the harbor, there are lots of people trying to sell boat ride. Most of them last for around 45 mins and are a bit pricy but you can always negotiate. We were lucky enough to get the boat ride for free because one of the boys accidentally spilled hot tea on my friend haha. Woopsii.

Turkey is sorrouned by mountains and I couldn't get over the scenery of Antalya. The mountains are so beautiful and every morning you could see how the sun would rise from the mountains. So beautiful! Though if you do go to Turkey, make sure to go in March, April, May or September or October since these are low seasons but still nice and warm.

After our boat ride we went to a local restaurant at the harbor. It's a bit pricy again but what can you expect when it's right next to the water and has a beautiful view. Best thing about it was the food! Super delish! On a side not, try to taste their local ice cream. The consistency is very different compared to what we are used to but it's really good.

The last stop was at a local hair dresser where we got our nails and hair done. Very over priced and to be honest, I wouldn't go back to that place. 60 lira for getting your hair curled, that's almost 40 dollars?!

Anyways I hope you all enjoyed this little post of mine and until next time - Ingat!

Accessories: Pilgrim

I was lucky enough when Noob and I were shopping for souvenirs to his family that we came across the Pilgrim shop in Kolding Storcenter. Since it was January we all knew that meant salePilgrim is a danish design jewelry brand that sells handmade jewelry and sunglasses to more than 50 countries around the world. It began in 1983 when Annemette Markvad and Thomas Adamsen innovated their ideas and turned them into beautiful jewelry. Their inspiration came from festivals where their love for music and people came together. And since then, Pilgrim has become an international brand that is known for their high quality on-trend designs, nikkel-free jewelry and handmade pieces. Noob found a beautiful necklace for his little sister and while browsing I saw this pretty dainty necklace with the Hamsa symbol. I thought it was so cute that Noob couldn't help himself and bought it for me - lucky me.

Hamsa is a palm shaped amulet which is populare throughout the Middle East and North Africa. It's the open right hand, an image that is recognized around the world and seen as a sign for protection. It is believed to protect you from the Evil eye.

Have you heard about Pilgrim?

Anyways I shall be going now, hopefully you learned something new and of course until next time - Ingat!
