Lookbook: Black Magic

Hat: H&M / Knitted sweater: H&M / Skirt: H&M / Stockings: H&M / Boots: Bianco / Necklace: Pilgrim

Summer has officially left the building here in Denmark, so now it is time to bring all those chunky sweaters back and start layering up. But just because Autumn has come, that doesn't mean you can't still look sexy and chic.. Am I right or am I right?
Now I'm not the biggest fan of knitted sweaters since they for some reason makes me feel fat but when I stumbled upon this dark blue sweater at H&M, I couldn't help myself but to buy it. It has a v-neck line and has a slit on both sides, even on the sleeves. It's a pretty cool sweater if I have to say so, only sucky part about it is that it is very itchy to wear, so make sure to wear a blouse underneath since the sweater is made of acryllic (a not so comfortable material compared to real wool).
Anyways with the fact that the sweater has so many cool little details, I decided to keep the under part simple and just matched it with a mini skirt. Since the 70's style is back on trend, I wanted to bring a sense of the 70's as back as well, so I paired the outfit with a funky hat and some over the knee boots. To make it a bit more funky and 2015, I decided to wear some stockings with polka dots and matched it with some gold jewelry from Pilgrim.

Anyways people, I have to dazzle off so until next time - Ingat!

September Favorites ♡

Hi again anyone and everyone! So I am back with a new monthly favorite. As you can see, I haven't been that active lately on this blog since mid September. I do apologize for that but life has just been pretty hectic so yeah.. Anyways let's just get to the point. Here are my favorites that I've pretty much been lovin' from August to September - Enjoy.

Beauty Favorites:
1. The first thing that I've been lovin' since I stumbled upon it a couple of years ago is this Benefit Cosmetic's They're Real mascara. I simply love love LOVE this mascara. Its packaging is super slick but it's the mascara brush that makes this baby a favorite of mine. They're Real Mascara is known to lengthen, curl, volumize, lifts and separates the lashes, so if you have short tiny lashes like myself, then I suggest you should give this goodie a go. I know it's a bit pricy but quality over quantity when it comes to mascaras.

2. My second favorite is the makeup remover called Micellar Cleansing Water by Garnier. I have tried so many different makeup removers but many of them just felt very oily and even some would sting my eyes, so I was on the hunt for a one that didn't. And I can honestly say, this goodie right here will from now on until forever be my favorite makeup remover. It's a cleansing water that helps remove dirt and makeup. It helps to reduce the feeling of a dry skin and gives the skin moisture and leaves you feeling fresh.

3. The next thing on my favorite list is the Konjac Sponge. It's a sponge that is gentle to the skin but and helps clean the skin efficiently.

4. The last thing I have been loving beauty-wise is the beauty scrub from Palmolive called Feel Glamorous. It is part of their Aroma Sensation collection. I can't really describe the smell besides saying it smells sweet. They say it contains berries, dragon fruit and vanilla. It contains little pearls or bubbles that helps to exfoliate the skin hence why it's called beauty scrub. It lives your skin feeling super fresh and the smells stays on your skin.

Books Favorites:
5. The book that I fell in love with is called #GirlBoss by Sophia Amoruso, the ceo and founder of the famous Nastygal clothing brand. It's pretty much like a self-help book that tells how Sophia ended up becoming a millionaire and a long the way, she tells funny episodes from her life and some tips to help you. I can honestly say that she pretty much became my hero after reading this book. I have taken the tips she made into account and have seriously learned a lot by reading her book. I can only suggest you to read this amazing book, and I am sure you'll understand why I love it so much.

I'll give you one of her tips. Many people today always buy and spend money they do not have but you have to be smart with your money. Would you rather spend 200 dollars on some shoes that's going to get ruined anyways or would you rather put them on your account? As Sophia says "Money on the bank looks better than money on your feet". I have started using this quote every single time I'm about to buy something that I in reality do not need.

Anyways that was all this time around. I do hope you enjoyed my little blog post and until next time - Ingat!

Lookbook: City Wild Life

Slevless kimono: Supré / Dress: Gina Tricot / Wedges: Primark / Accessories: Pilgrim

As the sun starts to set down and the sky is slowly turning pink, it is sad to say that Summer already left us, so a goodbye we or I must say to my short dresses and cute wedges. It is now time to get ready for the next season, and we may face the fact that the weather will only get colder. So my friends, we must start finding key-pieces to our Autumn/Winter wardrobe and prepare ourselves for the weather ahead. Good thing about this dress, is the fact that it is knitted so I can still wear it even when it gets colder HAHA. I just have to layer it up with some chunky knits and some thick stockings and boots. Either way, with this dress, I'm ready for you Autumn.

Question: Which is your favorite season?

Anyways that is all this time around and until next time - Ingat!

Lookbook: Pretty Woman

Dress: Gina Tricot / Wedges: Primark / Purse: Guess / Jewelry: Guess

I'm slowly getting more and more into turtle necks on dresses, so when I saw this bodycon dress with a turtle neck I knew I had to have it. It kinda resembles the one in white from my City Chic lookbook but this dress is in a ribbed material. Very chic and perfect for any season, all you have to do is layer it up. A perfect staple for the wardrobe. And with a turtle neck like this one, you haaave to accessories it by adding a chunky necklace like the one I'm wearing from Guess - those two just go well together. As for more colors since grey can be a subtle colour, I decided to mix it by wearing my green wedges from Primark and my white purse from Guess.

Question: How would you style this dress for Autumn/Winter?

Anyways that was all this time around and until next time - Ingat!

Fruity Facts: Vitamin C and Anti-ageing

Disclaimer: This photo is not mine

Nobody wants to grow old or at least look old but instead of using plastic surgery, there are actually things you can use to help your skin looking young from Mother Nature herself and I'm talking about the fabulous Vitamin C

Vitamin C is one of the most powerful vitamins that helps with the anti-aging process because it helps stimulate the skin's elastic fibers, which pretty much means it helps the skin stay tight and helps fight those wrinkles and pigmentation. Vitamin C also helps healing wounds on the skin.

You can get Vitamin C though fruits and vegetables, especially trough fruits such as lemons, orange, pomelo, grape, lime, mangoes, kiwi, berries but also in tomatoes, potatoes and green vegetables. So if you want a tighter looking skin, then make sure to eat lots of food that contains Vitamin C.

Lemon juice manicure:
If you're tired of nails looking yellowish because of all the nail polish you have used or because of smooking, try to dip your nails in a littlw bowl filled with lemon juice. It will help remove the yellowness from your nails and will make them stronger.

Anti-age smoothie:
What you will need: 1 dl soya milk (or coconut or almund milk), 1/4 cup of chupped pineapples, 1/2 mango, 1 kiwi and 1 handful of berries (your own choice), 1 dl orange juice and 1 tsp green tea. You mix all the ingridients and blend away until you have a rich and smooth smoothie.
The benefits: This drink is rich with enzymes, antioxidants, vitamin A and vitamin C which means it will help your skin stay young and smooth.

Lemon marinade:
Use the juice from a lemon over your salad, fish or even use it as a dressing or apply it in your water or tea.

Anyways that was all Mother Nature and I had to share for today so until next time - Ingat!

Lookbook: Shine Bright

Hat: H&M / T-shirt: H&M / Skirt: Gina Tricot / Wedges: Primark / Jewelry: Guess
As I mentioned in another blogpost, I'm a sucker for crop t-shirts like these, so when I saw this goodie at my local H&M with a high neckline and then woven with metalic threads and then sports number, I thought it was such a cool way to bring something girly and mixed it with sports. With tee likes this one, there are many ways on how you can style it but since it is shiny, I decided to style it with a cool mini skirt like this one with a sheer detail from Gina Tricot. To top it all off I decided to match it with again my favorite shoes (I'm sure you've guessed that it will be in my favorites post again) and to match my lip colour, I decided to wear my nice wollen hat from H&M.

Question: How would you style the tee?

Anyways that was all this time around and until next time - Ingat!

Lookbook: Cph Fashion Week

Top: Gina Tricot / Skirt: Bestseller / Purse: Guess / Shoes: Primark / Accessories: Guess

Who said stripes only go well with red? Or that you can't mix gold and silver together? In this case I went against those unwritten rules and matched this stripy pencil skirt with a green crop top and accessorized it with gold and silver jewelry. Since I was invited to Copenhagen Fashion Week I wanted to wear something that was super comfortable but also chic at the same time. In situations like these and you know you'll be surrounded by many people and there will be cameras everywhere, the most crucial thing you can do if you're worried about what other people would think of your choice of clothing is simply to go with your gut. The most attractive thing a gal can wear is confidence and that will only shine from you IF you wear something that you are comfortable in.

As for people thinking or even believing that it's only "skinny" people who can wear or is even allowed to wear crop tops, I would say "Screw them!". I believe the sexiest thing on a woman is her curves, so why should you be ashamed by your curves and tummy for that matter? So ladies, if you want to wear crop tops or anything really, then just do it. As long it looks good on you then por que no? Am I right?

Anyways that was all this time around and until next time - Inagt!
