2 in 1 LookBook: Orange Tee

 T-shirt: H&M / Leggings: H&M / Beanie: H&M / Boots: Nelly.com / Lipstick: Chi Chi

Loose t-shirts and black leggings go hand in hand, so if you feel like wearing something super comfortable but still look put-together then this combo is for you! You can seriously never go wrong with this look but of course always put a special touch in your style by adding some accessories. With this outfit I decided to wear my black beanie (thought it would fit well since it's Winter here in Dk) and some nice chunky boots. And these boots are from Nelly.com. I'm not sure if they are still available online but you can always go and check it out on www.nelly.com

T-shirt: H&M / High Waisted skirt: Supré / Heels: Bianco / Necklaces: Pilgrim and Friis & Co.

If you're going out with some of your giiirls or even going to work or event (depending which job or event), you can simply wear the same t-shirt and switch the leggings to a nice body fitted skirt. The t-shirt will give people the more casual feel while the skirt will make you look descant and put-together. But in all honesty, there are so many ways on how you can change the style based on what you decide to match the tee with, so in reality you don't need to buy new clothes. Just find different ways and combinations to style the clothes you already got.

Anyways so that was all this time around. Hope this post gave you an idea on how you could style your favorite tee? So until next time - Ingat!

Fruity Facts: Vitamin A and keeping your skin young

Disclaimer: This picture is not mine

Hellew again, lovely!
Okay so I have always been a fan of Mother Nature and her beauty secrets so I thought why not share her secrets with you? Many people think that beauty is something that you buy - all kinds of cosmetic companies claims that their products will make you beautiful and look younger and we are all guilty in falling for their traps and buying their products but .. Beauty is something that starts on the inside of us (yes I know that sounded very cliche but it's true). If we eat well and treat our bodies well, our beauty will shine through and we will get prettier skin and feel better about ourselves. So I will from now on be posting a series called Fruity Facts that tells you which food products that will help you enhance your beauty. All from which which food contains what vitamins and it's benefits, what you can do with the specific food wether is creating a delish meal for yourself or a drink and beauty tips and tricks where you can use that specific products and hopefully it will inspire you to eat and treat yourself better. Remember; It's not all about the make up, ladies.

I am sure many of you don't really know much about the Vitamins that we are told by our parents and doctors that we should take on a daily basis and most of you probably don't even know the benefits each Vitamin contains, so I am here to sit you guys down and tell you and who knows? Maybe this will inspire you?

Vitamin A:

Benefits: Vitamin A is very important to our body in general, it helps to improve our vision, our immune system, our DNA, our skin and helps us to grow. Vitamin A helps our skin to improve and helps our skin to be elastic and staying firm. It pretty much helps us to keep looking young.
Lack of Vitamin A: If you lack of Vitamin A it can cause you night blindness and blindness.
Food with lots of Vitamin A: Food such as fat fishes like salmon and makral and lever but also in vegetables like broccoli, carrots, white cabbage, cabbage, tomatoes, spinach but you will also find Vitamin A in egg yolks and mango.

Skin Glow Smoothie:

Take a piece of mango and chop if off and blend it in a blender with goji berries. Add a pinch of salt, some milk or soya-milk and a bit of vanilla powder it you want it to be a bit sweeter and lastly add some ice cubes and blend away. There you have it, a smoothie that will help your skin to keep on looking young.

Anyways so that was all for today's post. Hopefully you learned something new and please do take a picture and #Fruityfactswithshandra if you decide to try out the smoothie. I would love to see it ❤️

#WithShandraInParis Part 3: The Notre Dame's secret & the Pathéon ✈️

So the last day of our trip in Paris, we decided to be more strategic on the places to visit. Most places open around 9:00 o'clock in the morning and are open until around 5:30 pm.
We decided to go back to the Notre Dame since next to it, there is a building underneath it or more like ruins that shows how Paris looked like in the 1400. If you're interested in history, then I def recommend visiting the place.

One of the monuments in Paris that isn't as famous is the Pathéon but since I was a geek about Paris when I was younger, I pretty much read everything about Paris and really wanted to see the Pathéon. It is really close to the Notre Dame Cathedral so I suggest that if you're going to the Notre Dame, stop by the Pathéon - it's only about a 20 mins walk.

So that was our visit to the crypt of Notre Dame and the Pathéon. There really are a lot of history in Paris and so much to take in. I wished we had more time in Paris so we could have went to all the sights and museums but yeah.. If you do go on a holiday to Paris make sure it's at least a week or so - 3 days are really not enough.

Anyways I hope you guys enjoyed the third Paris post and of course until next time - Ingat!

January Favorites ♡

It's the end of the first month of the new year. Have you guys kept your new year resolutions so far? As for me, I am still keeping mine but let's go down to what this post is all about - the products I've been loving the entire month of January (and pretty much December). So let's just get to it, shall we?

If we start off with the hair stuff, there is only one thing that I have been loving, not only for the month of January but through out last year actually, and it's this shampoo my mother got me when she went to the Philippines.

The shampoo is called "Lan's salon - Moisturizing shampoo" for the daily care and maintenance of rebounded hair. Now I have tried a ton of different types of shampoos from all brands pretty much and my scalp is very dry and sensitive, so what most people would use, I would get dandruff. I have been struggling with dandruff since I was little, so of course I've been on the hunt for a shampoo that first of all wouldn't give me dandruff and guess what? I have found it! What Lan's Salon Shampoo claims to do is true! The first time I tried it I was hesitant since I have never heard of this brand before but since Tresseme, Head&Shoulders, Sunsilk and so on only gave me "headaches" I figured why not try it? And boy am I happy that my mom got it for me. Whenever I use the shampoo I feel an instant change in my hair, like it leaves my hair feeling softer and healthier. The scent reminds me of Head&Shoulders but I would choose this one over Head&Shoulders anytime. I can only say that I love love love it and will def buy it when I go back to the Philippines.
- So if you do live in the Phils, do give this a try and tell me what you think. I'm sure you're going to love it as much as I do. I can only give this shampoo a thumps up!

The BodyShop's hand cream shouldn't come as a surprise to you that it's in my favorites again since I always use it. I would say it's pretty much part of my beauty holy-grail. My hands are general very sensitive but when they get exposed to cold weather or just cold winds, they dry up quickly to the point that it bothers me, but since I've been using the Almond hand cream, my hands always feels softer and looks better. So since I bought it the first time in high school, I've always kept the hand cream in my bag. And I will tell you this, I have been using it a lot since the Danish Winter has arrived. So what I do now is apply it before I leave the house and then wear gloves/mittens and then apply it again when I enter the house.

And of course.. What is a Monthly favorite of mine without the famous EOS lipbalm? I am a loyal fan of the EOS lipbalms and got them in almost every scent you can get. I'm such a fan that I had my sister buy a ton of them for me from New York as my souvenir. Seriously, that was the only thing I wanted as a souvenir from NY, so you tell me if I'm a fan XD

The two most "newest" favorites of mine are not really new, since I've tried these before and they are the face masks from the Bodyshop. You might not be able to tell, but I love the Bodyshop! I got the "Seaweed Iconic Clay Mask" and the "Honey & Oat 3-1 Scrub Mask" as an early Christmas gift from my Honey honey (bestie), and I have put them to good use through out December and January.

The Seaweed Iconic Clay Mask is a mask that contains seaweed and natural clay that removes dirt from the pores and absorbs the exess oil that we humans tend to have. It also contains minerals that re-energize your skin. Though I will warn you not to use this clay mask every single day. I would only use it once in awhile when I feel like my skin needs a bit of extra looove - especially if I've had a busy and hectic week. Plus I have noticed that whenever I get a pimple and it then pops, it tends to leave like a dark "scar" but when I used the mask, right after I washed it off, the so called scar was gone!

The Honey & Oat 3-in-1 Scrub Mask is a mask that has a triple effect on your skin. It gives you a nice and smooth skin while nourishes normal to dry skin since it has oats and Community Fair Trade honey, and because of the oats, you can use it as a face scrub that helps remove all the dead skin on your face. I would use this mask two to three times a week, depending on how my skin feels.

So these were all my favorites of the month of January. I hope you enjoyed it and until next time - Ingat!

Wedding Inspiration: Table Settings & Flowers ♡

Okay so I got engaged to my Noob in 2014 and we decided to get married in 2017, which means I have 2 years to plan a wedding. It might sound like a long time to plan a wedding but when you live in the opposite side of the world from each other, then it's not so easy to plan a wedding. So.. I have decided to share my inspiration with you guys and hopefully that can help me be more clear about what I would like for the wedding and who knows? maybe some of you are getting married too and need some inspiration too?

So here are some inspiration for the table settings and for the flowers. Oh! Notice that none of these pictures are mine, I simply saw them on Pinterest.com
